Max Oligario is senior client manager/senior vice president in the Global Commercial Banking group with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where he assists corporate clients with revenues up to $2 billion annually in capital raising, cash management and international banking. He began his banking career in 1998 and has extensive experience in commercial lending, commercial real estate lending and retail banking with SunTrust Bank, Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase.
Mr. Oligario currently serves as president of Tampa Bay Seminole Club®, 2015 Seminole Club of the Year. For his efforts with the club he was also named 2015 Seminole Club Volunteer of the Year by the Alumni Association. He is the founder and immediate past president of the National Black MBA Association, Tampa Bay Chapter. In 2014, the chapter named its scholarship program The Max Oligario Visionary Scholarship for his efforts in starting the chapter and serving as its president for seven years. He is also a board member for the Tampa Club, Tampa Bay’s premier business professional club, serves on the board of investors of the Hillsborough County Economic Development Corporation, the University of Tampa’s John H. Sykes College of Business advisory board, and the Florida Advisory Committee to the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.
He is a 2002 graduate of The Tampa Connection. In 2009, he was selected as an Up and Comer by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and was also recognized as one of the top minority bankers in the Tampa Bay area by The Power Broker magazine. In 2010, he was a finalist for Man of the Year with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society where he raised more than $6,000 during a 10-week period.
Mr. Oligario has a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in communication from FSU and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance, management and marketing from the University of South Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering in his community, traveling, spending time with family and friends, networking, playing and watching soccer, and supporting the Florida State Seminoles.
