Board of Directors Meeting Recap
On Friday September 25th, the National Board of Directors of the Florida State Alumni Association held their Fall Meeting. The events of the day included two brand new committees that met for the very first time - including a Scholarship Committee, which will develop a program to offer scholarships specifically for children of Florida State alumni. The Board events led into a wonderful Open House, which featured the ladies and gentlemen of All Night Yahtzee - a magnificent a cappella group that has won world-wide acclaim. The event coincided with the dedication of the Alumni Centennial Time Capsule, which will remain interred in the Alumni Courtyard until the year 2109. The Board also welcomed its newest members - Katie Patsronis, David Brobst, Susan Sarna, Sandra Dunbar, and Benjamin Crump. Finally, a new Seminole Club was officially chartered - the Southwest Ohio Seminole Club.
The dates for the upcoming Board Meetings will be February 5-6, and June 4-5, 2010.
