Robert “Robbie” Cox is a two-time graduate of Florida State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in international affairs in 1999 and a juris doctor from the College of Law in 2002. While attending Florida State, he was involved in several organizations both on and off campus, including Sigma Nu Fraternity, where he served as vice president.
After leaving Tallahassee, Mr. Cox spent several years in private litigation practice, first in the Orlando area and then in Tampa. He subsequently transitioned into the finance industry and currently serves as senior vice president of the investment banking firm MBS Capital Markets LLC.
Mr. Cox is a past president of Tampa Bay Seminole Club® and is also a volunteer attorney for the Family Forms Clinic of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit.
A native of DeLand, Florida, he resides in Tampa with his wife, Stacie (B.S. ’02, J.D. ’05). In his free time he enjoys golf and traveling, although during most fall weekends you’ll find him in Tallahassee cheering on the Seminoles!
