Zach Heng is an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, a consulting firm that has been at the forefront of strategy, technology and engineering for more than 100 years partnering with public- and private-sector clients across the globe to solve their most difficult challenges. With specializations in digital strategy, enterprise system implementation, branding and marketing, Mr. Heng has been in the technology and management consulting industry for more than 10 years supporting Fortune 500 companies, state and federal government agencies, and national nonprofit organizations.
Mr. Heng graduated from FSU in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in information technology. During his time at FSU, he served in various leadership roles across several organizations, most notably as the treasurer (’05-’06) and director (’06-’07) of the Asian American Student Union and was inducted into the 2007 Senior Hall of Fame by the Garnet & Gold Key Leadership Honorary. His continued involvement and passion for both FSU and the Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community led him to join two other FSU alumni in co-founding the FSU Asian American Alumni Network in 2014.
Outside of work, Mr. Heng serves as vice president of marketing for the Greater Washington Chapter of Ascend, the largest nonprofit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. His latest endeavor has been more entrepreneurial, starting his own branding and marketing agency – The Heng Group, LLC – specializing in social media strategy and digital media branding. He also is a lifetime member of the FSU Alumni Association and a member of Seminole Boosters.
