Emeritus Alumni Society Reunion

November 17-19, 2017

Catch up with your alma mater and relive your Seminole memories at the Emeritus Alumni Reunion honoring the Class of 1967 during Homecoming Weekend.
 


Schedule

Friday, November 17

  • 9:30 a.m. | Campus Tour
    Join us for a guided bus tour of the picturesque grounds of FSU and view many of the changes that have taken place over the years.
     
  • 11:30 a.m. | Welcome Luncheon
    Pick up your welcome bag, enjoy lunch with fellow alumni and hear from guest speaker Dr. Judy Bense (B.A. '67, M.S. '69) on the sixth floor terrace at the Dunlap Champions Club.
     
  • 2 p.m. | Homecoming Parade
    Get a front row seat to the FSU Homecoming Parade with reserved seating at the corner of College Avenue and Copeland Street.
     
  • 5 p.m. | Happy Hour
    Enjoy a drink and snacks at the Alumni Center while you meet with fellow Noles and get in the Seminole spirit for the weekend! Share memories and view memorabilia from your time at Florida State University.

 

Saturday, November 18

  • 9 a.m. (Doors open at 8:30 a.m.) | Homecoming Awards Breakfast
    Join us as we honor the 2017 recipients of the Bernard F. Sliger Award, Grads Made Good, Ross Oglesby Award and University Libraries and Friends of the Libraries Alumni Award for Distinguished Writing.
    Business casual attire suggested.
     
  • 3.5 hours before kickoff | President's Tailgate
    FSU President John (B.S. ’65, J.D. ’72) and Mrs. Jean Thrasher invite you and your guest to a game day reception at the President's House backyard before the 2017 homecoming football game.
     
  • Time TBA | Delaware State vs. Florida State football game
    Join us in special block seating at Doak S. Campbell Stadium as we watch the Florida State Seminoles take on the Delaware State Hornets.
    Parking available at the Alumni Center (1030 W. Tennessee St.). Game day shuttles will load and depart at the conclusion of the President’s Tailgate, returning to the Alumni Center at the conclusion of the third quarter and 30 minutes following the end of the game. Stadium drop-off and pick-up between Gates E & F.

 

Sunday, November 19

  • 10 a.m. | Class of 1967 Induction Brunch and Emeritus Alumni Society Awards Ceremony
    Celebrate the induction of the Class of 1967 into the Emeritus Alumni Society and hear from special guest, past president of the University and former classmate, T.K. Wetherell (B.S. '67, M.S. '68, Ph.D. '74). Recipients of the 2017 Emeritus Alumni Society’s award will be honored following the induction proceedings.
    Business casual attire suggested.
