Frequently Asked Questions
Search for “FSU Alumni Association” in the App Store or Google Play. Once you’ve installed and opened the app, you’ll be prompted to allow it to access your location and send you notifications. You can choose to turn these options on if you’d like to receive updates from nearby Seminole Clubs or Chapters, reminders about upcoming events in your area or member benefits applicable at locations near to you.
Note: You do not have to activate these functions to access your membership card or member benefits.
The FSU Alumni Association app is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices. Currently, iOS 7.0 or later is required on Apple devices and 4.0.3 OS or up for Androids.
Tap the “Login” tile on the home screen and then enter your first and last name along with your ID number.
After you log in to one.fsu.edu and return to this page, your ID number will be displayed above. Note: login information is not case sensitive.
Once you’re logged in, tap the “Edit Your Info” tile on the home screen. You will then be able to update your personal information, address and contact info.
If you’re a current member and have logged into the app with your name and user ID number, you should see a “Membership” tile on the home screen. Click it to instantly access your membership card with information on your current membership level and next renewal date* (if applicable).
*A great benefit of the app is its handy reminders; if you’re a member and have turned on app notifications, you’ll receive a reminder from the app when it’s time for you to renew your membership.
Tap the “Alumni Events” tile on the app’s home screen. You’ll be notified if you have not subscribed to the calendar yet; to subscribe, simply tap “Settings” and then select the checkmark button next to “FSU Alumni Calendar.” If you’d like to sync the calendar to your device, tap the bell-shaped notification button next to “FSU Alumni Calendar.” Events will then be synced to the calendar on your device and you will receive notifications when upcoming events are occurring near you.
Please allow at least two business days for your membership information to be updated in the app system.
- For Apple device users: Open your device “Settings” menu, select “Notifications” and then “FSU Alumni.” Tap to allow notifications and edit your alert options for the app.
- For Android device users: On the home screen, tap the button in the top left next to “Home.” A drop down menu will appear with all the app features; scroll to the bottom and select “Settings.” You can then enable and edit your notification settings.
The FSU Alumni Association app experience is personalized to you — your location, membership level, graduation year and alumni network affiliations may affect which tiles you see in the app.
Login to one.fsu.edu and check that you are logging in to the app with the name and ID number listed at the top of this page. Please note that login information is not case sensitive.
