Secretary Job Description


  • One year


  • 1-3 hours per month
  • Seminole Club board meetings (monthly/quarterly/as scheduled)
  • Applicable committee meetings attendance (as needed)

Position Requirements:

  • Current member of either the FSU Alumni Association or Seminole Boosters

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Active participation in Seminole Club board meetings
    • Serve as archivist of Seminole Club
      • Record and distribute minutes and an activity report to Seminole Club staff liaison and board members within one week of Seminole Club meetings
      • Record significant milestones for the club's history
  2. Support Seminole Club events and programs throughout the year
  3. Act as liaison between alumni, friends, Seminole Club and Alumni Association
