Tony Lee is a seasoned development officer who prides himself on his ability to build relationships. As director of major gifts for Florida Gulf Coast University, he strives to expand the university’s partnerships by engaging alumni and community leaders. Mr. Lee is also an adjunct professor in the College of Arts and Sciences and faculty advisor to Kappa Alpha Order fraternity.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at Florida State University in 2002. As a student, he was active in the Vice President of Student Affairs office and Student Government. Later, Mr. Lee served on the Seminole Torchbearers Board of Directors aa a member and chair. He is also past president of both the Tampa and Naples Seminole Clubs. In 2015, he earned a master’s degree in global and strategic communications from Florida International University.
Mr. Lee has received numerous community awards and is an active member of the Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce, City of Bonita Springs Citizen Board & Outreach Committee and Leadership Florida Regional Council. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, watching college sports with friends and attending cultural events with his wife.
Mr. Lee was a presidential appointee to the board and plans to utilize his experience to assist the Alumni Association and Florida State University with engagement and member development.
