Grand Ballroom

Alumni Center Ballroom

The Grand Ballroom is the perfect venue for the wedding of your dreams or the party of a lifetime. Surrounded by large windows and glass doors that provide for a breathtaking and unique view, the ballroom is approximately 4,320 sq. ft. (90' x 48') of carpeted space. Occupancy is 248 for plated meal service or 300+ standing or in theater-style seating arrangements.

Cottrell Conference Room


Named after Dr. Raymond Cottrell, this conference room can be configured into a board room or a classroom arrangement. This room can comfortably accommodate 25-30 people and has full audio/visual capabilities.

Pearl Tyner House


This is the former President's home and serves as the perfect venue for lunches, dinners, small receptions, teas and cocktail parties.

$1,000 (Friday-Saturday)
$900 (Sunday-Thursday)

Available Monday - Friday after 5:00 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday all day.
Additional hours billed at the rate of $100 regardless of category.

Rendina Room


Named for Mr. Bruce Rendina, this conference room is 1,575 sq. ft. (45'x35') of carpeted space and can accomodate up to 80 people. The room includes a whiteboard, pull-down screen, food service counter with sink, refrigerator, ice maker and interior restrooms.

Rental equipment (equipment rented over and above items supplied by Alumni Center and covered under the contract rental fee) and services such as tents, dance floors, floral arrangements, linens, extended AV services and the like must be contracted by renter but coordinated through the Director of Alumni Center Facilities and Services.
All deliveries for meetings/special events must be coordinated with the Facilities and Services Department. The FSU Alumni Association will not assume responsibility for items left on the premises by the rental company or facility user.
No tacks, nails, tape or similar items may be used in meeting rooms and/or corridors. All plans for decoration must be approved by the Alumni Association.
Convenient parking, including handicap accessible spaces, is available in several lots located around the Alumni Center. Most parking is included in the cost of facility rental. Use of barricaded lots surrounding the Alumni Center must be approved by the Alumni Association in advance. If the event is scheduled during the work week, arrangements must be made in advance to barricade the lots for an additional charge.
The Alumni Center is a tobacco-free environment.
The Alumni Center has partnered with Andrews Catering, a full service provider of food and beverages, for all events held at our facility.
Alcohol service is permitted on Alumni Center grounds within University guidelines and according to law. All contemplated alcohol beverage service must be coordinated through the Facilities and Services Department. The FSU Alumni Association and Florida State University reserve the right to deny entertainment and/or music deemed inappropriate. Entertainment plans must be shared with and approved by the Director of Alumni Center Facilities and Services.
Each facility user shall indemnify and hold harmless the Florida State University Alumni Association, Florida State University and the Florida State University Board of Trustees, and agents and employees thereof, against any and all damages, claims, liability due to loss of the property of others or any other liability arising out of use of Alumni Center facilities. The facility user is responsible for payment of any damages to or loss of the FSU Alumni AssociationÌs property if it occurred as a result of the preparations or clean up for, or during the contracted event itself. See License Agreement for further provisions regarding event insurance, etc.
The FSU Alumni Association and Florida State University reserve the right to deny use or continued use of facilities to any person or organization not complying with the applicable policies and procedures.
Acceptable forms of payment include procurement cards; Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards; check or cash. If paying by check, please make payable to FSU Alumni Association. All payments must be received prior to the event date.
