Education B.S. ’11, M.S. ’13, Ph.D. ’16 Location Homestead, Florida Dr. Andrew Hazelton is a meteorologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Weather Service/Environmental Modeling Center. Prior to that, he was the associate scientist at the University of Miami’s Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS) and NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory Hurricane Research Division, where he worked on hurricane model development. He also participated in hurricane research flights with the NOAA Hurricane Hunters. Hazelton is a three-time alumnus of FSU with B.S. (2011), M.S. (2013) and Ph.D. (2016) degrees in meteorology.
