Education B.S. ’18, M.S. ’24 Title Communications and Engagement Chair Born in Salta, Argentina, and raised in Miami, Daniel Read (M.S. ’24) is a first generation alumnus dedicated to student success. After earning a B.S. in environmental studies from Florida International University, he worked in student facing roles at Miami Dade College before moving to Tallahassee to pursue a Master of Science in higher education administration at Florida State University. For the past several years, Read has served as an FSU undergraduate academic adviser, gaining a deep appreciation for the college-town environment. A former entrepreneur, he also founded and successfully ran Empanada Smiles, a local Argentine culinary business.
