Dariela Delgado

Dariela Delgado (B.A. ’21) is a proud Florida State University alumna who earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in education. Originally from Mexico, Delgado understands the challenges and opportunities that come with being a first-generation immigrant. She is a passionate advocate for educational equity and is deeply committed to expanding opportunities for Hispanic/Latin students and strengthening connections within her community.

Delgado serves as education coordinator at UnidosNow, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Hispanic and underserved communities through education and leadership development. In her role, she develops and facilitates college readiness programming, supports student leadership initiatives and works closely with students and families throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. In addition to her work in education, Delgado is a volunteer news reporter with WSLR+Fogartyville and recently served on the William G. and Marie Selby Foundation’s Scholarship Selection Committee. She is honored to serve as Southwest Florida Regional Chair for the Hispanic/Latin Alumni Network at FSU and looks forward to fostering meaningful engagement among alumni throughout the region.

In her free time, Delgado enjoys sharing her love of music by giving violin lessons to children and seniors in her community
