As president and chief executive officer of the South Tampa Chamber, Kelly Flannery works with business owners and community leaders each day to make South Tampa the best place to live, work, play and do business.

Flannery is a graduate of Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Prior to joining the chamber, her career included sales, marketing and management roles with ClubCorp, Marriott, Front Burner Brands and Millennium Copthorne Hotels. She is a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management (IOM), a 96-hour professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and holds the Florida Certified Chamber Professional (FCCP) designation.

A Tampa native, Flannery is deeply committed to serving her community through leadership roles with civic, business and military organizations. She serves as chair of the MacDill Air Force Base Community Support Council and as president and co-founder of the MacDill Support Council Foundation. Flannery currently serves on the board of directors of the Hillsborough County Early Learning Coalition and Leadership Tampa Bay; the board of trustees of HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital; and the advisory board of Blue Star Families of Tampa Bay. She previously served on the boards of the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals, the Florida State University Student Affairs Advisory Council and the Tampa Seminole Club.

Flannery has been recognized for her leadership and community impact, most recently being named a 2026 “Tampa Bay Business & Wealth Women Who Win” honoree and the 2025 Judges’ Choice Award recipient for “Philanthropist of the Year.” She resides in Tampa, Florida, with her husband Jim (a double Nole) and son James. Together, they enjoy exploring their community and pursuing their family goal of visiting all 50 states.
