Linda Wesley Dillon was born in Tennessee and raised in Florida, and proudly considers herself a true Floridian. She graduated from Leesburg High School before attending her beloved Florida State University, where she formed lifelong friendships—including with her college roommate, with whom she still meets for lunch.
Dillon earned her degree in social work with a focus on criminology and corrections in 1970, which led to her first role as a Pasco County school social worker. She then spent 33 years with the Pasco County Clerk’s Office, serving as director of records and civil.
A devoted Seminole fan, Dillon has held football season tickets since the 1990s and has attended national championship games—celebrating the wins and weathering the losses. Tailgating has brought her lasting friendships that continue to this day.
Linda loves to travel, read, tend to her rose garden and watch college football. She is a stepmother to four, grandmother to 12 and great-grandmother to three, and proudly says that through thick and thin, she will always bleed garnet and gold.
