Education B.S. ’95 Robert “Rob” Kuth is a principal consultant and program manager with QinetiQ US and a retired U.S. Army colonel with more than 27 years of distinguished service in infantry and special operations assignments. Kuth graduated from Florida State University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in criminology and a commission in the U.S. Army after completing the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program. He later completed graduate-level education at the Marine Corps University Command and Staff College and the U.S. Army War College. His military leadership assignments included command of infantry, ranger, cavalry and theater support organizations, culminating in service as a brigade commander. His staff assignments included operational positions with the Joint Special Operations Command, U.S. Special Operations Command and the 7th Infantry Division. He deployed multiple times throughout the Middle East and South Asia, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he planned and led complex counterterrorism and combat operations. Kuth remains deeply committed to serving his community and alma mater. He serves as chair of the Florida State University Veterans Alumni Network Council, where he is dedicated to strengthening engagement among FSU veteran alumni and supporting the university's veteran community. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Special Operations Forces Transition Assistance Resource (STAR) in Tampa, Florida, helping special operations veterans successfully transition to civilian life. Kuth and his wife Paula reside in Wesley Chapel, Florida, and are the proud parents of two sons, Jordan and Justin. Directory National Board of Directors
