After my undergraduate and graduate work at FSU, I went to UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Public Health where I received a PhD in Health Policy and Management. I then joined the School of Medicine at Duke University where I was on faculty for 22 years, as well as a Health Research Scientist at the Durham VA Medical Center. In 2019, I was offered an endowed professorship to join the faculty of the Health Services Research, Management, & Policy department in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at UF, where I am also the director of our PhD program as well as the Social and Behavioral Sciences PhD program. My wife also holds three degrees from FSU." Directory Asian American Alumni
