Zach Heng is a Client Engagement Lead and IT Project Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, a consulting firm that has been at the forefront of strategy, technology and engineering for more than 100 years partnering with public- and private-sector clients across the globe to solve their most difficult challenges. With specializations in digital strategy, enterprise system implementation, branding and marketing, Mr. Heng has been in the technology and management consulting industry for more than 10 years supporting Fortune 500 companies, state and federal government agencies, and national nonprofit organizations.
Mr. Heng graduated from Florida State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in information technology. During his time at FSU, he served in various leadership roles across several organizations, most notably as the treasurer and director of the Asian American Student Union and was inducted into the 2007 Senior Hall of Fame by the Garnet & Gold Key Leadership Honorary. His continued involvement and passion for both Florida State and the Asian-American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community led him to join two other FSU alumni in co-founding the FSU Asian American Alumni Network in 2014.
Outside of work, Mr. Heng serves the DC metro community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Asian American Chamber of Commerce as well as the President of Ascend Greater Washington, the largest nonprofit Pan-Asian organization for business professionals in North America. His latest endeavor has been more entrepreneurial, starting his own branding and marketing agency – The Heng Group, LLC – specializing in social media strategy and digital media branding. He also is a lifetime member of the FSU Alumni Association and a member of Seminole Boosters.
